Hey there folks. Some people have mentioned interest in see some of the code, both NWScript and XML. To that end you should see two new sections in the left hand menu, Customized UI and Custom Scripts. These sections will allow you to see a list of script and XML files, which you can click on to take a look at the source code itself.
Feel free to look through the code to get an idea of how the back-end of the module functions. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Well, things have moved along quite a bit since my last posting. I have designed a layout that I like and coded the XML so the icons work correctly through the game's UI. Now it is a matter of getting the back end coded and the Ability Bar UI done to make testing feasible.
I am looking at testing both the Ability Bar and the character sheet ability panel this weekend, so now there is a bit of a time crunch to get the Ability Bar wrapped up and the ability scripts coded. Thankfully 90% of the abilities in the game are entirely passive and will integrate easily into the existing combat scripts. Just have to figure out how to deploy the activate-able abilities and the mode bar.
Good times.

So this little project got one step closer last night. I have finally cracked the mechanism for displaying and purchasing abilities for your character. Although the system works, there is still a lot of coding, in both NWScript and XML, and a couple of hundred TGA files to make (2 copies of each). I am hoping to get time to work on it this weekend.
So what does this mean? I means that a working copy of the module isn't that far away. Keep in mind that it will still be a character and combat test, since the questing system won't be running as of yet. That will take a bit longer to get functional.
Just a minor update to keep people who are following appraised on development.

The new hak list has been posted to the website under the menu item Hak List. If you are interested, you can download the haks from those links and have them pre-loaded in your NWN2 data folder prior to the release of the next beta test. You also have the option of waiting for the release and using the built in auto-patcher to obtain the haks automatically through the game client.
The only benefit of obtaining the haks prior to launch is a speedier entrance into the module once it is placed live.
The theme for the forums has been completed and is not online through the forums menu item. Make sure to swing by and register on them in order to gain access to bug report and class discussion forums.
